I was born in San Diego, California and share a birthday with Hulk Hogan (not the same year though).My education includes the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, where I specialized in Musical Theater. I studied Telemedia at Southwestern College and am currently attending Penn State’s Law and Society program. My film, Safety with Scissors (2002) made its U.S. premiere at Tromadance Film Festival. The short went on to win 1st Place in Comedy at both Best Fest and the Imperial Beach International Film Festival. After that, I worked in education, serving as an Instructor for the San Diego Women Film Foundation’s Divas Direct program and previously with the Teen Producers Project,through Media Arts Center San Diego.
Casting and Production Assistant credits include Creepshow 3, Day of the Dead 2, Deal or No Deal and NBC’s The Biggest Loser. I recently completed a 2.5-year gig as Creative Producer at DivX where I’ve had the pleasure of shooting the likes of MST3K’s Mike Nelson, Rosario Dawson, BT, Jake Shimabukuro, Tiki Bar TV, Pure Pwnage and JETSET Show. I am co-creator of an Internet web series, ./shutdown which I write and direct with the brilliant David Gonzalez. Season 2 is currently in the writing phase. |
