so this just happened to me on my gmail account. I was a bit suspicious when they said really silly, so I copied the text into google, found your blog, copied the rest of your conversation in, and then sent it to the person in the chat.
they went all “LOL that isn’t me”. I expressed that i didn’t know anyone who used lol as much as them and disabled the chat… totally weird eh?

Yeah I never reported it because I didn’t really know what was up, but it appears someone is abusing the school directory. It has to be someone with access to the school directory. Not sure who to report this to. Maybe someone in Security in the school’s IT department?
