The film festival went brilliantly last Friday! It was a very fun night, and despite a mild heart attack during the screening of my film, I was thoroughly giddy (and relieved) to hear laughter and applause at all the right moments of Safety With Scissors. I later received compliments on the movie by several people which added to my relief and all together it was an historic night. Success!Today, Mr. Robert Schneider (whom I endearingly address as “Schneidy”) informed me that a woman from KPBS radio was in attendance at the Film Fest and wants me to contact her! I think this may have something to do with a review or the San Diego Film Critics… er.. something or other. Either way, this is definitely good news! I will be sure to report in to the Fudgecake Times (my mailing list) as soon as I get to the bottom of this.
Remember, you can subscribe to the Fudgecake Times and receive updates once or twice a month by emailing fudgecake-subscribe@yahoogroups.com from the email account you wish to subscribe with. This is the best way to get the latest Fudge Scoops on Fudgecake Productions®.
Winter vacation is coming up! I plan on using the time to delve deep into pre-production on one (and possibly two) 16mm short films that will be financed by Michael J. Everret, the writer and future visual effects supervisor of the two movies we may be doing. Look forward to hearing more on that later, folks.
Aahhh. Life is good… for now. ![]()
